How It Works
On most platforms the platform sells the ads and keeps the money. On Veamcast, you own the ad space.
You create an ad campaign, you decide what it promotes, and you attach it to your veams or to a whole channel.
When somebody watches your content, your ads are what they see, and the clicks go to your links.
There is no threshold to cross, no subscriber minimum, and no application to fill out. Create an account, create a campaign, publish.
📡
1. Run Affiliate Ads
Join an affiliate network and put your links in front of your audience. Veamcast has
Commission Junction and Amazon built into the campaign editor, so you can pick a
real advertiser creative, drop it into an ad, and keep the commission on anything it sells.
Your own affiliate links from any other program work too: an ad is just an image or a bit of text with a link on it.
🎬
2. Monetize a Channel
A channel is a topic you curate: publish original veams or collect the best of the web around a subject you know.
Link a campaign to the channel and every veam in it serves your ads, including content other people contribute.
The more your channel gets watched and shared, the more your ads are seen. Build several channels and each one earns on its own.
🤝
3. Sell Direct Sponsorships
Once a channel has an audience, sell the space yourself. A local business, a brand in your niche, or a friend with a product
can pay you directly to run their creative, and you paste it in as an ad. You set the price and you keep all of it.
Veamcast does not take a cut of a deal you make.
📱
4. Promote Your Own Thing
Selling a product, a service, a book, a band, or your own consulting? Point your ads at it.
Every veam you email, post, or share carries the campaign with it, so your own marketing rides along
with content people actually want to watch instead of paying for impressions somewhere else.
How to Get Started
1
Create a free Veamcast account. The web player works in any browser, and Veamcast for Windows adds recording, email, and the full publishing tools.
2
Open the Campaigns panel and create your first campaign. It starts with a set of sample ads you can edit or replace.
3
Fill the ads in: your own image and link, an affiliate creative from Commission Junction or Amazon, or plain text with a color you pick.
4
Create a channel about something you care about and add content to it. Rate it, comment on it, make it worth subscribing to.
5
Link the campaign to the channel, or to an individual veam, so your ads serve wherever that content is watched.
6
Promote what you publish:
- Email your veams to your contacts
- Share the channel link on social media
- Tell friends, groups, and communities in your niche
7
Watch your stats. Views, clicks, and subscriber counts tell you which content and which ads are working.
8
Do more of what worked. Swap out the ads that do not convert, and add channels as your audience grows.
